Style

My approach is cinematic, with a focus on character, atmosphere and story. My work spans portraits, fashion, editorial, unit stills and behind-the-scenes coverage. I plan carefully while leaving room for candid moments, collaboration and improvisation.

Journey

More than 20 years in front of the camera shaped my approach to photography. I studied photography at The Open Window before moving into video production, returning through street photography in 2010 and expanding into commercial and fashion work in 2018. My broader creative practice includes producing, directing and art.

Education

I hold a BA in Visual Communication from The Open Window and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town.
